TMLT - Officially A "Fan Release"

In further proof that the British have no taste, "Touch Me Like That" has debuted at #43 on the UK mid-weeks. How very depressing!

I think it's humiliating. Poor Dannii...

I've just seen it too. So unfair. The CD single ALSO INCLUDES A VIDEO!
To be honest I was hoping this release would bring Dannii back into the Top10. The song is good (I mean, as good as her old topten singles), it has airplay (well, club ariplay and video airplay, but that's enough!) and Dannii's X-Factor exposure.
It seems I was wrong. I hope it climbs a bit to get Top40 at least. Is that the line between "fan release" and FLOP? Should Dannii cross that line?

Another top 45 smash hit! How does she do it and still remain so fabulous?

Poor Dannii! This could end up being a bigger FLOP than Love's On Every Corner!

Wow, that is low...

Well, if you take into account that she did not promote the single, that she has not done any live performance of it whatsoever; it's easy to understand why it has not been more succesful.

Dannii should fucking promote her singles a lot better. And having an affair with Simon Cowell is NOT a good way to promote anything.

But I guess she's too busy with the talent show that she cannot allow herself to do more activities. :(

There are lots of reasons why TMLT has turned out to be another "fan release" but I'm going to leave the post mortem until the song's final chart position is announced on Sunday. I hope it can climb into the top 40 but Dannii's singles usually fall through the week. I actually think TMLT could end up outside the top 50.

1,500 copies sold!

I think SUP sold roughly that first day. Sales must be a lot higher at this time of year. Whatever the case, it's still pretty awful!
